Mk 5 tdi fault code 19558...18617 17055/56/5758

Morning first post..just bought this tdi,MK 5  these are the fault codes,EML is on cleared it a few times,took the pipe of the inlet  motor,  pretty clean started it fine,,turned it off flap shuts fine and opens fine.& car drives fine,takes 3/4 seconds to start,light only comes back on after stopping and restarting ,,,stops with a shudder,,,help,not keen on buying a inlet manifold motor when it looks like it's doing its job,any ideas,thank s. Also glow plug warning hasn't come back on,changed 1 water temp sender,,? Noticed another one close to rad?.. Ps fans come on when cold now and then,,and stay on as I wait after I've locked it,,night mare,,,any help would be appreciated .ev.

Forget the code for a minute, what are the actual symptoms with the car.

   Starts and drives perfectly,when cold,,after stopping for 10 mins,takes 4/5 seconds to start,then starts with a shudder,eml pops back on with 3 glow plug faults and the motor flap 19557'19558  codes'so I fitted a new inlet flap motor this morning,,,,same problem ,,,fuse f8 looks ok,,glow plugs read 12 v one was faulty yesterday,so fitted a new one as well as 2 temp sensors ,,,doing my head in,regards any help  would be appreciated ,everett.(strange thing only gives 3 codes for glow plugs after I fitted 1 new one?

Just  removed battery,and under tray engine cover,and induction pipes to be able to follow the wires from the inlet flap motor that go under the battery tray,I found the harness had been chafing on the starter motor thick black wire,,and worn through,and 2wires where touching and green mouldy,I've repaired them,one traced back the the inlet flap motor,so I'll try it out today,this chafing is quite common ,happened to me a few years ago,similar tdi golf,,,,and was found by Newark diagnostics as I gave up,,but remembed this time. I've pictures but don't know how to list them?
