RNS 510 losing track position
« on: 12 December 2015, 18:21 »
Has anybody else had the RNS unit forget the track position of media randomly after the last time they turned the engine off? Mines done it a couple of times playing from the SD card. PITA if you're listening to a podcast...

I'm wondering if a firmware update may solve this but have heard people bricking the RNS after a firmware update.

I expect a firmware update would solve the issue, updating the mdi software for the usb one solved it for me with a usb hard drive.
