In the flesh it's better.

That golf looks like it has too much going with the black rims. Now I'm not too sure.

Ignoring all the company logo stickers I found this one on my google travels (I was looking for alloy wheel inspiration but saw the colour of this one and remembered this thread)

The older members here will be reminded of rusty 1970s Escorts in primer and the younger guys n gals will see the current trend.
My friend had a Leon Cupra in Dynamic Grey and it looked great in the flesh

This place has a great reputation http://www.tlcdetailing.co.uk/

They do wraps for Lamborghini & Maserati in Edinburgh, but people take their cars here from all over the UK. They actually remove as much of the car as possible for every wrap

I know what you mean about primer but I like it.

It's a good job I'm skint or I really think I'd be tempted to try something like this as a) I've never done anything like that to a car; normally it's just bolt on stuff for me like wheels and suspension and b) it would set my car out from the millions of lease car clones

My mate had a Mk 2 Mexico in completely sprayed in primer for about 18 months, we all thought it looked great even back then with its Minilites and rock hard Bilstein. It wasn't as mean looking when it was eventually resprayed Venetian Red.
