Took the Bora in for MOT and whilst booked in I got them to change the rear axle bushes. They kindly gave me their "courtesy car" so I could get to work which was a Passat TDi Estate from 2001.
Looked over it, and all seemed ok - it was tidy enough if a little scabby round the edges.
Then I saw the mileage:
If my Bora drives as well as that old bus did when it's done the equivalent of to the moon and a third of the way back I will be impressed. Wow!

I know we can only see 1 picture, but that thing is looking well for a car of 14 years and 314,000 miles. I wonder how many of those miles have been as a courtesy car.

It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.
