« on: 24 April 2015, 09:47 »
Hi all I've just got my hands on an anniversary mk3 goIf was surprised to find the interior headlining and door pillars in cream (the bottom halve in black) are all model's like this or do they come in black
I have black headlining and black door pillars but don't want to loose the original look

Hi and welcome along.

Well done for getting hold of a Mk3 Golf Anniversary, do tell us a bit more about it.  Cream pillars and headlining is normal for Anniversary models.  I hope it has all of the Anniversary features intact.

the headlinning is sagging I have another headlinning I had made for another mk3 but this is in black I didn't want to put these in with the black door pillars I also have if they were only made in the 2 tone colours
Everything else us intact right down to 16inch bbs alloys  and just needs a bit of a clean

By the sounds of it you want to keep it original looking.  I don't think changing the cream to white headlining is a bad thing, you should think about doing it and store the original plastics.

I love looking at the Anniversary models and especially if they have a good tidy set of alloys which is probably rare these days.  I keep meaning to refurb a set of mine but it's finding the time, 3.25 sets and counting!

Post some pics up
