Engine change
« on: 21 April 2015, 15:11 »
Almost got this engine out, taken me almost 2 days  :undecided:  and I've still got the other car to do. Ugh!!

Anyways just doing the final checks before lifting and noticed this

So the Haynes has said to remove the selector cable, but this (bracket holding selector cable)is still attached! Should I remove this??

there is a horse shoe shaped clip holding the cable in to the bracket. put a mole grip on it and pull it up and it will come of and release the cable.
