Understand your comment ,but reading a lot of other posts it does seem that owners have very mixed responses some being told they would have to pay fully, others not being charged. At all?! and in between.My query was if Vw do replace what length guarantee is offered on their work, even more important should you be one of the unfortunates who are not helped.with costs of in region of £1500,! May your confidence in VW doing the right thing prove correct. I also queried on what was normally fitted to the 06 plate,as it seems the Bosch is less vulnerable?
