Mk5 gti new owner cambelt change and service plan
« on: 26 April 2015, 21:43 »
Good evening
I am picking up another mk5 gti 2008 with 72k next week and the garage are doing the cambelt and water pump and changing from a long life service plan to annual service plan for me
Is there anything i should change as well while having the cambelt out?chain tensors, as well switching service plans is there anything else I need to change?
Aswell the previous owner has fitted the rns 510 but fitted a Nokia Bluetooth system but it has the highline computer and multifunction steering wheel, can I get a Bluetooth module?
Thanks

There isn't much more worth worrying about with a cambelt and water pump change, other than brake fluid as well if there's no record of it.

You can get bluetooth modules, they pop up for sale over on www.mk5golfgti.co.uk fairly often and there's loads of advice on retro fitting it into your mk5 there too.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
