One thing I've been pondering; will my car come with the GTD keys?  Some have mentioned theirs not being supplied at collection and just getting the regular VW folding keys...

It's actually the same key but they have GTD/GTI inserts they slide in place for you.

I think it was just early orders where this was happening, dealers should be experienced with this now (I would hope!) But worst case, just check on the day and they would sort it for you I'm sure.

Officially, my Dad's GTD (the first UK one on here I believe, July 1st pick-up) only got supplied with 1 GTD screw on key base, and I had to request his second one that was on back order. I picked his "spare" up when I collected my GTD early September. You should definitely get 2 with your GTD/GTI/R.
