The Story So Far
« on: 18 January 2015, 20:24 »
Well guys I have a result in the saga which has been ongoing for more than a year!!!
I was into the dealer last Thursday for a chat with the branch manager and service manager to have my day and where we stand.
So I told them that I had contacted VW customer service and opened a case regarding my ongoing issues with my Gti, so all the data was passes on and the case was opened. I told the customer care guy the end result I would like is an exchange motor as there is something wrong with my gti The response was we will try and repair the car sir!!... I said your not listening to me

I want a replacement car as it's not safe to drive. Then they said that will have to com from your dealer not us.
So the call was placed with the dealer and they were fuming with Vw customer care and a call was being made to them.....Ooopps So that afternoon I got a call from my dealer who has been very understanding and been on my side on this issue since from the start. Doug we have some good news, the call this morning from Vw customer care the person has now been removed from the case and now we have been sent a form to fill in for an exchange Gti

Nice result. The 19s are great. Till you need to clean them, or buy new tyres.
