Just press the voice activation on the steering wheel and the commands appear on the screen, simply say "navigation volume off"

You could change the setting to congestion and it will be quiet unless there is a problem ahead.

I tend to have it on brief which is a compromise.

Yes apparently the red one might be a fleet one from SW Water. Hence why he doesnt seem to worry about his 4 badly scuffed all round wheels. Do you live close by then?
