ive got the golf mk3 gl auto 97 reg but only 32000 miles on the clock but i find ive goto refill the coolant at least 1 a month sometimes sooner but the car doesn't over heat and runs smoothly. im just wondering if the hoses could be the cause or something else although it had a full service about 2 months ago so cleared that perfect

usually the flange on the side of the cylinder head or the main flange at the front of the block get brittle and start to leak.
