Could some one tell me the price I would expect to pay on the replacement of my mk6 golf gti front brake pads please.

Depending on what trade offers are on an TPS at the time, front brake pads are around £35 + VAT for both sides and it's about an hours work to do the job. So around £100 at a local garage, or £250 at a VW dealer.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

For my my MK5 GTI (believe its the same brakes) I paid £66.50 for a set of Mintex discs/ pads on eBay then a local place charged £45+VAT to fit them. If you don't need discs it should be cheaper still.

Hmmm...? I think I could change them myself. Been quoted £130 to do by indy.

Really nice guys but I've also got to have a new manifold so could do with saving on the pads as long as I do them properly.
