newbie here

Hi guys

Ive recently bought myself a mk4 gti 5 door in black. After being out of the car scene for a few years due to having kids etc i fancied building another car.

I picked up a 51 plate gti last weekend for a bargain....£420.

Dont get me wrong the paintwork is sh**y but the car has full service history and drives like a new motor.

Ive already pulled it apart bought wheels debadged grill bumpers are at tge body shop already getting smoothed ready for a full paint job.

Its all go put it that way!

Just a heads up as ive been taking pics etc for a build thread and to show you guys its transformation.

Is there anything i should look for?

Cheers guys and nice to meet you all.

Sorry to sound dumb but how do you attach pics. Cheers

Cheers

Once you upload your photos to Photobucket, there's a menu that you can click (a little cog symbol as you hover over image thumbnails) and in there is an option to "Share Links". Look for the one labels "IMG code", click it to copy it to the clipboard, then simply paste it in a reply to a forum topic.

If you want to see how it should look, go onto someone's project and click "Quote", you'll see the raw text code there (but don't click reply!). Hope that helps.

As for things to look for on the mk4 GTI, I have no idea, I#m a mk5 GTI guy.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
