Hi all, I've been a member of the forum for quite some time now but never posted, although i regularly browse and i must say there are alot of very nice golfs on here and a lot of good advice given.
My name is Darren and I'm from Essex. I have just today purchased a 2001 Mk4 1.8t GTi in grey with 133000 on the clock.
I happened to own this car about 7 years ago but had to sell it due to personal reasons. But believe me i didn't want to!!
I had been looking to get another mk4 for a while and when i saw this on ebay i couldn't believe it, I had to have a look at it at least.
Fortunately for me it had been well looked after and apart from 13 years of stone chips and the odd scuff its it pretty good condition.
So here i am after being VW less for a few years i have finally got back into it.
I look forward to chatting to some of you as i'm sure i will need some advice soon.
