Thanks for clearing it up :)

If it has to be a cab then fair enough, I'm sure everybody on here has had that feeling when there's just something that they 'have to have'. I can certainly understand that.

Personally I would definitely look at an A5 as they are lovely cars but if the deal on the R cab is good for you then I think we both know where this is likely headed  :smug:

Enjoy it, whatever you decide to do

Cheers seabrook, in reality I think vw where completely greedy and chancing there arm pricing the R cab at 40k, even 34k at this moment is too much so I do honestly think vw gave the car a bad start by matching it with the wrong price tag full stop.

IF IT HAD been priced at £28-30k new to start with then I do believe it would hv sold quite well BUT would hv made the diesels LOOK very expensive.....

I have an open mind and will drive the car and see if I like it... I liked the diesel so can't see me not liking it but who knows....

Btw, Anyone ever considering an ed35 - do it, it's an awesome car. Gave me the extra over the standard GTI that I wanted.... And looks Stella in White with 19invh glendales, but needs ACC lol ...
