inlet manifold torque settings

changing the lower and upper inlet manifold maybe tommrow. got new gaskets and stuff, but do they need to be torqued up or is it just try get them all evenly tight?

there are specific torques and tightening sequences. go to halfords and have a look in a haynes

Haynes book of lies says:
Inlet Manifold Retaining Bolts 25nm or 18 lbf ft

I wrecked a lower inlet manifold over tightening a couple of the bolts, caused a lot of grief with the ISV not being able to compensate for the leaking un-metered air. Consider using gasket sealant too as a fail safe.
