Throttle bodies

Hi all ,
Just this second joined on here after buying a 1999 (T) plate mk4 golf GTI 20v 1.8 non turbo. Any body had any positve experiences In using throttle bodies on the 1.8 Gti 20v non turbo..

only ever seen it done once, the guy had to put it on standalone management and just about got 150bhp out of it. really not worth the time and money when you consider how cheap 1.8Ts are.

Thanks ..Ive posted another question as other mk4 owners rave about Audi TT conversions in the golf.whats the best TT engine to go for and what's needed to complete the conversion?
