Hi Guys is there a way of replacing the foam on the heater box flaps without having to remove the centre console?

No. Having done the job myself I cannot think of a way of doing it without the box out.
Best of luck!!!

I feared as much, I still get warmish air out of it but the amount of foam being blown in my face only tells me this project is on the horizon, I saw one guide where the guy got so cut up and frustrated he smashed his interior up in frustration lol.

It is a pig of a job to get the heater box out, expect cut hands and loads of swearing. Just take your time and recheck everything when refitting.

Give yourself 2 days to do it nice and steady. Mk3 Heater Matrix and a roll of closed foam. Lots of tea & plasters as well
