Oil Change Light Reset using VCDS

Afternoon all, just done a oil change on a MK7 1.6TDI but cant seem to reset the oil change indicator using VCDS, tried the oil quality option which did change it to 18700 or 720d but next day is saying oil change due by one day, anyone got any pointers?

Sorry Can't comment on vag com on mk7 as not done enough miles on my gti yet but the manual has instructions to reset the sri, on the gti it's on page 25. I know that's not necessarily the answer you're looking for but will reset your indicator for you.

Don't know the answer to this, but why would you risk the warranty on your car by doing your own oil changes when it is under 3 years old? You don't have to get the services done at a VW dealership, anywhere can do it if they've used VW parts and used VW standard compliant oil, but doing them yourself is a real grey area - hard to prove you did it properly or used the right oil if an oil related issue crops up and you've got no service history to rely on. Not to mention it being an issue to someone buying the car off you  further down the line and you've got no service history to show.
