Headlamp fog upgrade

Is it possible to upgrade a non-fog headlamp with a fog bulb and lens etc?

Yeah but you'll need the switch as well and I'm not sure if all the wiring is there.

I'm currently running standard fogs in original headlights.  Got access to some new genuine Valeo headlamps that dont have fogs.  Can I transfer over the fog bits from my old headlamps into the new ones?

Oh with you! Yeah you can, it's just a case of swapping the fog lamp into the new headlamp in place of the reflector that's there. It's held in with 3 small torx screws.

You'll have to swap the wiring from inside your old headlamps into the new ones as well, but that's easy enough

Just done did it.  Took about 10mins.  Wiring needed to be swapped over.  Hardest part was getting side light bulb holder out of old headlamp as it didn't have lugs to open the clips?  Noticed one of the holes to attach the fog lens wasn't threaded on the non-fog headlamp but the two existing screw points seem to hold it OK.  Will get it fitted at wknd.
