I picked up my GTI in October last year and it's a great car but the R just looks on another level!Has anyone been in this position and gone ahead and sold their GTI and got an R? Somewhat tempted! And also just checked used vw website and my gti is sitting there and is for sale for £28000 only 500 less than I got it brand new lol How you finding the R compared to the GTI? Really love the r mate, and the sound is fantastic in race mode. I much prefered my ed35 to the mk7 gti. I just think the r drives so much better than the gti and I have 19inch alloys and it is super comfy. Thought it might be a bit rough with the bigger alloys. glad to hear your enjoying the r

^^^Yes, some feedback on the tuning box would be greatly appreciated - I've been waiting patiently for some on the rforum.co.uk but there has been virtually none. Does it make a really noticeable difference to the performance - from pulling off and in the mid range? Also, has your mpg dropped?
