Electrical Problem

Help ...bladdy cars ....turn the inginition car starts up, go to indicate the car cuts out and wont start!!! in the dash the indicator led is slighty on,

play aroundwith the hazard switch the led light goes out on the dash and the car starts up !!!!!!!
HELP has anyone had this problem

Take both switches off (wipers and indicators) and give them a good blast with electrical contact cleaner spray. NOT WD40 or GT85, that'll bugger it right up. Also check your hazard switch if you can get it apart..... My Mk2 did this once and it worked ok without the hazard switch so I did that till I could get a new one.

sounds like a short some where bud, if it works when you mess with the hazard switch i would start there, try and get a new one!  :smiley:
