i want a better carb on my 1.6 mk2, wats the best to go with, i want to squeeze every ounce of power i can out of it
also im putting a GTI camshaft in, any idea if thatll make much difference??

Yea teh cam helps quite a bit. also for best performance you want Twin 40's. Execpt a rather large drop in MPG though but cant beat the noise they make!

i had a 1.6 which had a
1.8 head
1.8gti cam
1.8gti manifold and exhaust system
webber carb
and k&n panel filter
this would keep up with my 8v gti till abt 70mph

I have a pair of Twin 40 Dellorto jetted for a 1.6
Was going to go on my VTR Engine for my AX but just sold the AX. I'm after £40 + P&P As they need the linkages and a manifold

weber carbs rule, u know when u swap the cylinder heads, i heard that u dont have to tell insurance and u can get away with it, coz im gna put it from a Gti into my golf, is that true?
