Milltek question
« on: 10 February 2014, 17:22 »
I have recently bought a Milltek cat back exhaust and finally got round to unwrapping it today.

These are the Milltek part numbers that I have

MSVW 287 - Back box
MSVW336 (x2) Tail pipes
MSAU343 - Middle pipe
MSVW259 - Middle pipe

Can somebody confirm if this system will go straight onto my car.

A couple of clamps were missing but these are now on the way I was just wondering with the new system being larger will it just fit onto the cat or do you need an adapter?

It all just depend whether part number : MSAU343  reduces down to fit the OEM exhaust.

does it look like it goes smaller should be 2.75" to 2.5" or 2.37"

Get a tape measure out

What size is the OEM pipe?

MSAU343 is 3"

MSVW259 is 2.75"

OEM is either 2.25 or 2.37 if i remember rightly, so the pipe should thinner at one end or you need an adapter like this : Part number:  MSVW367
