If your dealership has common sense yet. You've not had the car long at all and it shouldn't act like it's had a elbow on the armrest for 100k miles.
I would push for a replacement armrest door card.

Went into the dealers tonight and they are going to try and replace the armrest under warranty!
The outcome I would have expected  glad they are replacing it.... let hope it was a defective unit.

I've got a similar problem with the passenger seat.  Looks like its done 5 times more compared to the drivers seat.  Drivers has done 2,400 and the passenger has been sat in for 200-300.

Glad to hear they will change said items rather than what I am dreading they will say - leather will ripple and indent etc etc

My armrest has a small indent where my knobbly elbow normally rests, doesn't bother me too much but I may take it in as it is a new car and shouldn't have these issues. Would the dealer replacement not just be made from the same material? ie. likely to happen again?

They'll replace the entire door card and it will be made from the same material, so yes it almost certainly will happen again if you rest your elbow there.

I'll be putting some extra padding under my elbow when it's fixed to stop another indentation happening!
