Hi folks, just having some issues at the moment with my gearbox, the gear selector arm sticking out the gear box is 'limp' and hangs down and when i put the car into reverse occasionally it will kill the engine, this is because it touches the starter motor so it shortens the electrics. As you can imagine this is one nightmare and really want to get it fixed. Has anyone had this done? If so can anyone point me in the right direction as to where i can pick one up from. Ebay? I've tried looking but not sure if im typing the right thing in the search box.
Car - MK5 golf, 1.9 tdi, 6 speed gear box.
