Foggy Side Windows
« on: 17 January 2014, 07:44 »
Anyone else notice that whilst driving the side windows start to fog up as though the climate control has gone to sleep? I've turned the cc to strong and I always have the cc set to auto so I don't think the windows should fog up at all. a quick blast of the max window button clears it but this only seems to happen on motorway/dual carriageway journeys. anyone else got this?

Chris: Not seen this on mine, but the rear window fogs a lot, and the windscreen does quite a bit, but nowhere near as much as my Scirocco did. I think i've only ever had the aircon on twice since I bought the car.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

hi Matthew. it's very strange and like the climate goes into sleep mode when its been on for a while. maybe the internal sensors are turning the climate down too much and causing the fogging. I've got some new autoglym glass polish (brand new sample) to try so maybe that'll help.

That's probably whats killing my MPG as it is always on 1 bar. Subsequently, i only ever have foggy windows first thing and they clear in 20-30 seconds.
