When I got my car before xmas last year I noticed the beep when I pressed the key was very low not loud. Tryed the Alarm and it worked but the siren was naff you could hardly hear it but you could still hear something very faint.Checked on VAGCOM no fault codes etc so I just got a second hand one off ebay. Had it changed today so first thing I did was press the button to turn the alarm on and it was a nice loud cheerp so I thought job done. I then later on tryed the alarm which works but no siren sound. So I took it to my pal who plugged it in to do different tests and Im getting a fault now saying 01134 Alarm horn (H12) If we clear the fault it just keeps coming back. We thought must be a faulty siren but when we was trying different things out on the laptop the alarm did go off and the siren worked but when we tryed again it didnt.My friend then run is it the VCD Blocks and it wasnt finding the alarm,horn or interior sensor? If you sit in the car the alarm will not go off but once you open the door the hazards flash but no siren. I was just gonna change the siren because of the fault code but I have actually herd it work and it cheeps when you press the button any ideas???
