Happy New Year
« on: 31 December 2013, 19:13 »
Hi chaps and chapesses

Hope you're all enjoying your new GTI or GTD seem to be as rare as hens teeth round here at the moment but have seen the odd mk7 Golf and it does look quite special.

Still enjoying my Evoque so won't be swayed into changing back to a VW again, I enjoy the high ride position and the fact that I'm averaging 40/42 mpg from a 2.2 litre diesel and with 420 Nm @ 1750 rpm it goes like sh!t off a brick too.

Anyway I popped in to wish you all a very happy New Year and happy driving.

PS Exonian I'll be down your way in July...may finally get to meet for coffee??

Happy New Year Amanda!

Every time I see an Evoque I think of you!!! Love the style of them, real road presence. I'm glad you're still smitten with it.

I'm out of the country at the beginning of July but will be back towards the end so if you're down in the civilised part of the world  around then I'd love to buy you a cup or two of Costa's finest (other brands are available) and maybe even a choc muffin too!!!

aside from the rather hefty cost to change the mk7 really hasn't disappointed at all so far. Huge step up from the mk6 in many areas.
