Ok the dash is off, okay the clocks are off now how do i go about getting into the clocks with that blue paper stuff on it? I was gonna ask a certain gorgeous bloke  but he disappeared. Are there just the three lights at the back of the clock and how do you go about removing and replacing them? How do you get into the switches to replace them with leds?

the little bulb holders just twist out, there are two on top and one in the middle behind the lcd screen, although this has its own green filter so never shines up bright unless you dismantle lots of things to get it out.

you don't need to remove the blue film with the pcb on it (i think). to take the green filter out you have to break out the white section on top as its melted in at several spots then just unpick the filter. if you do have to remove the film, the plug(s) on the bottom slide out then the film is held in place by little pins, just go slow because the copper tracks can be damaged.
