Hello all,
Just got myself a MK2 GTI 8V. It was a bit of a spur of the moment buy. I had a 5 door for my first car when I was 16 but sold it before I passed my test. Ive always wanted another so here it is. (you may of seen it on ebay)
Its got a good few problems so il be haunting the forum for a while until i get it sorted. I dont know what im going to do with it yet. possibly do the 20v conversion sometime in the future. My priority is to get it running and looking the way i want to first.
I dont really know much about these cars so if anyone can give me some info on it id be very gratefull. Starting with what those whells are off. Not really to my taste, i may put standard rims on it.
Its going to be a winter runaround for me while i work on it. I dont want to run my other car over the winter. Im a member of a few Audi forums with this.....
Il get some more pice of the golf up when im home on leave in a couple of weeks.
ok well off to the mk2 section to ask loads of stupid questions
