Vag - Com

I see a lot of talk about Vag com which to my understanding is a diagnostics programme?

Is this the only programme that can read older volkswagen cars or is it just the one that's favoured over others?

Also is there anyone near Upminster in Essex with it who wants to scan my car for me?

vag com is no more... well not officially or legally anyway

it's now called vcds - a lite version that is suitable for old VWs is available from it's makers website www.ross-tech.com

vcds lite unregistered can't do a lot but you can get fault codes - registration was 99$ when i bought the feature key
