The Potenza S001 is now an old tyre in terms of development. Here is a link to some of those tests:

Ah, thanks Doug. Still doesn't fair as badly as I thought (or how they actually feel). If all the complaints about tyre wear are anything to go by, then MH and myself shouldn't have too long to wait to replace them

Some reviewer reported theirs perishing and cracking after 2 years. VW should at least do road tests with tyre range they've signed up to provide, to ensure they don't put sh!te tyres on their cars (which they have).
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

VW with the mk7 have picked up some of the cues that work on the rocco onto the Mk7 with the rear roof line dropping away and also the front which gives the car a wider appearance

i have to admit i think my 35 is a way better car than the rocco in terms over ownership and handling (rear of the roc is too light and unstable at very high speeds)

Never missed mine, only miss what i did to it, oddly when i had Revo's for a few days i got fed up with visibility, boot, seating position and clouting my head and i was glad to get the Golf back, liked it but never truly loved it

Not withstanding you get lots of free vinyl with a splattering of leather, roccos aren't good value at the moment compared to GTI/GTD in terms of spec and the R has now been dropped (so will always have a cult following as for me in reality is the only one worth owning)

i think people must want them on looks alone now as i find the Mk7 way ahead of the Mk6 in the game now

Would i have a Mk4 Scirocco, not sure, however, glad i scratched that itch

Me too - love the Roc - but now my expectations with the GTD are that it will be the same performance wise - depsite being lighter and more powerful...
