Fuel Gauge
« on: 17 November 2013, 23:12 »
Right as of tonight my fuel gauge has became intermittent, it has started to show empty when it isn't, then after a few tries of restarting the car it's working again.

Any idea's anyone?

It  could be, but would the petrol  light come on if it was as when it shows empty the light doesn't come on. The car was running at the time and had a quarter of a tank next time I looked it was on empty and  the car hadn't moved.

In that case no, the light is controlled by a sensor in the tank that has a float attached to it, I would be interested to find out what is causing this tbh, keep us posted.
