Accessing the dash fuse box
« on: 13 October 2013, 11:05 »
Has anyone actually gained access to the dash fuse box.  Manual says to open the glove box and press the internal catches upwards but I can not move the catches at all and am reluctant to really force the issue in a brand new car.

I want to add a 3 way cigy socket to a switched live and mount it either in the Glove box or the drivers storage box so I can power my Blackview Camera and GPS camera unit as I did on my old Octavia. Either use an unused switched live or get a piggy back fuse holder.

Has anyone done this yet on the GTi? Alternative methods of adding a neat multi socket appreciated
