  • Back in a Mk3...
I know about the "extra digital" info trick but it resets itself each time the ignition is turned off! (I hope the same doesn't apply to the clock/milometer settings that you want to change?)

b.t.w Jubi parts from Germany usually bring a premium over Uk parts (I sell all my anni bits to the Germans), are the clocks cheap?

Hmm i did wonder about that myself as I've also toyed with the MFA extra features before but was kind of hoping the country code wouldn't reset, what would the point of that be?

The German TDI clocks with silver dials are plentiful and aren't overly expensive but the ones that are also MFA equipped and were fitted to the 'Jubi' do fetch a fair few pennies and are a bit trickier to source. This said I've seen a couple sell in the past week, and I'm currently watching another set to get a feel for what I need to spend on them.

I'm going to see if there are standard black German TDI clocks with MFA as i'm sure they'll be cheaper and then il stick the UK TDI plasma dial faces on them.

Well so far in my searches I've only found some TDI clocks for a Golf4 cabrio (equivalent to our mk3.5) which have the black faces and MFA but are even more expensive than the jubi TDI version - Odd!
