Suitable brake pads
« on: 01 October 2013, 14:54 »
Hi

Can someone recommend suitable brake pads for my jan 2010 gti. Don't want anything special just some cheap pads I plan to change myself.
When I searched Euro car parts they had loads of different makes pagid, elcher etc just wanted to know the best for the money and which ones to get for a standard car.

Thanks

If your staying standard, go for Pagid from Euro's.

They supply OEM manufactuers, are well prices and good quality.

Eicher are a cheaper brand, but with cheaper stuff, quality drops, and in terms of brakes, squeaks and quicker wear..

If not try phoning the dealer, as they now do a range of 'Eco' parts, which are still VW Packagaged, but are from a cheaper line, as they fit more than just one car. Quite good prices too!
