Just tried swapping over with the BT module from my wife's 62 plate Golf Match and it works fine in my car.

My module has what looks like a mini co-axial aerial input, which explains the sharks fin, the newer module does not have this input.
Maybe reception won't be so good with the newer module.

£300? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-BLUETOOTH-KIT-SEAT-SKODA-MFD3-RNS-510-RNS-310-RCD-510-RNS-315-5K0-035-730-D-/271293681244?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2a5d0e5c

You wont need to use the harness, just unplug yours and plug the new one in.

Thanks for that dubber - I'll have to make enquiries about having it 'programmed in'.

Just plug n play if you already have the older version factory fitted

Mine has a shark fin fitted and came without satnav but I have got Factory phone kit, (59 plate)

when I changed to Iphone a couple of years ago my kit didn't connect, got a newer version one off someone on the forum, and it was literally a 2 minute job on mine, uplug the old from under the drivers seat and plug the new one in, switch on and pair the phone with the kit.

Heard it was as simple as this, but it's nice to hear from someone who has done it first hand.  Defo a jib for next year.
