Hey guys,
I just wanted to say hello and to apologize in advance for the ridiculously obvious things I'm going to need explaining to me over the next few months. I've never known much about cars (haven't even tried changing the oil yet) but I have an old 04 Civic I'm going to be tinkering with to teach myself.
Besides that car, I currently drive an S2000 which I love (I know I know dem fighting words on this site) but I'll be getting rid of that in the next few months to make way for my new GTD which is estimated to arrive at the end of October. The Honda is a dream to drive and a lot of fun (especially in the rain) but I just can't face the sky rocketing tax and fuel bills (Tax alone has gone from £440 to £475 in the last 2 years!).
I've been a long time admirer of the Golf, but never owned any VW before, so thought I would come hang out with people in the know to learn more about them.
