Hi guys...not new to the forum but recently swapped the mk3 for mk4, its a 1.8 20v N/A....i was wondering if anyone had or knows how difficult a 20v turbo transplant is...?? are the engines completey different..?? any help appreciated!! thanks Dan.

very similar engine... but cheeper to just buy a 20vt...

also out of interest whats the reg of the car? always wondered what happened to mine... and don't see many of the n/a's around...

well similar enough if you were going to do an engine transplant...

if you were wanting to put a turbo onto the engine you have currently theres a lot more work needed.

though as I said in my previous post... the amount it would cost to do the conversion you could sell the n/a and buy a 1.8t and wouldn't be a patch on the cost...
