Service history fun question :)

as above.. Do many members on here have there original receipt of purchase from brand new? if so what price was paid for your car and what spec was it?

Mines was;

£15245
in June 1995
Yellow Colour Concept 8v GTI
3door, sunroof & no air con

I have mine somewhere and the car was resold by the dealer later and have that receipt as well...

My car has depreciated to the point where the parts are worth more than the whole..:)

I have the original sale receipt too, but not sure if it's for the VR or GTI, also I have a few more receipt when the car has been sold to other people. Will look through the folders and post it up.

Unfortunately that applies to the majority of mk3's now.  I've been looking at up sizing due to work and was pondering on what to do with my Golf and the only way I'm going to get any money back towards the new car is by  pulling it to pieces sadly.

My car came with the original invoice

Mine was

£16845 in Apr 1996
Mystic blue GTI 8v Anniversary
5 door, sunroof & air con

it's now worth about 6-7% of that price whole! (or a bit more in bits!)
