Think the price is to bad someone on here may tell us
If it is any good

They are the just the same Chinese copies, they just charge more to think you are getting something better.
They have no optical isolation on the CAN bus so have the potential of taking out some modules in your car if they go wrong.

yes but you'll lose the radio text. your better off driving a couple of hours and getting it done right. you've got the most up to date firmware and maps. buy a genuine Ross tech cable and then you'll be the only one in your area with one. it'll soon pay for itself.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I'll happily code it up if you want to drive to Aberdeenshire.

Personally, I'd not have a cheapo copy cable anywhere near any of my cars.

As said buy genuine

It will earn its money back and you can sell it on if you move away from VAG

You have an expensive car; is it really worth risking it over a couple hundred quid??

I believe either of these 2 but hopefully someone will be able to clarify.

When I needed a cable to re code my head unit I borrowed one from a member here. I paid the special delivery both ways and slipped him 20 notes for his time.

Maybe someone could offer you similar?!

Where in Scotland are you as I keep telling myself I need to get one but haven't got round to it yet.
