When does the cam belt and water need changing ? Mine was last change when my car was on 76,228 (9/6/2010) my car is now on 105,470 miles

VW Suggest every 40,000 miles or four years, which ever comes first.

Personally id get it done if the last belt & pump weren't done when the car was in your possession.. but that's just me - and you know its good for awhile too. I service a car ive just bought even if its just had one

It will be fine for the minute, look to get it replaced around 110k

Cheers Wayne I've got my service due in 700 miles ill prob get it changed about 4 weeks after that any idea what it'll cost if I brought the parts
