After seeing the 850 estates in the BTCC many years ago a mate of mine went out and bought one and they are cracking Q-cars.  From what I remember his only complaints were fuel economy and the fact he went through a set of front tyres every 6 months.

Just tell your mate that motorway racing is for chumps and that a Golf will loose him down the twisties every day

The problem is that the race is always the same, its a long strait by-pass then a roundabout and then strait back and the winner is the first back to mcdonalds car park  last week he challenged my 1.6 driver agaist his 1.5 diesel, haha, now that was funny, so i have technically beat him, just not in his volvo, i`ll have him, one day, somehow,

If you can equal him in power to weight ratio , then you'll be getting closer... he is running in the region of 250 bhp / tonne ... so its going to be quite difficult to beat him really , like someone has mentioned .... beating someone in straight line is a bit easy, especially as he is running a 360 bhp car... he sounds like an idiot anyway.
