The BMW 8 speed is a ZF automatic not a DCT.

Even though its not a dual clutch it's still supposed to be amazing. Never read a negative comment yet!

I'm not the biggest fan of autos, but BMW have got the calibration just right with it. I've driven a few cars with that gearbox in it, and it was excellent in the BMWs. Not quite as good in other stuff.

Audis and Jags. Don't get me wrong, it's still a damn fine gearbox in those. It just seems to be that little bit better in the BMW.

Just my humble opinion.
