It is a TSR head with receit. The guy I got it off had to abandon his project after a baby so had all the parts never fitted. Got a few things off the same guy. Think you missed the aeronautics joke

I picked up a set of clocks for mine for twenty quid. Not fitted yet but my mate had his out of his MK2 it was pretty straightforward and didn't take him long.

Did you get TSR or a simular company to fit and set it all up? If u did you would not be experiencing these problems.  Come on Lemon!

This thread was about the speedo, not to do with the head set up. The car flys now

Not as much if you had had it installed and set up by a recognized company. I know I had a 8v and installed it myself. Was great but no where near as good as when I took it to TSR who checked it over etc and reset it. You pay for what you get Lemon

he didn't say he had problems. just a rough idle. which is to be expected with a sports cam.

I know, I am just saying it should have all been set up correctly by a trusted reptible company. Then the rough idle would have been sorted. Unless you know exactly what you are doing leave tuning etc to the experts.

yeah I agree about getting them set up to run as best they can. but sometimes a rough idle is something you got to live with. long duration and overlap  in a cam is great at high revs which is exactly what its designed for but theres allways a loss lower down the rpm.
