Burst coolant pipe
« on: 24 June 2013, 16:57 »
Driving home today it starts pissing coolant around the jubilee clip by the thermostat housing. I want to get back on the road as soon as possible. It's an 8v that had the recall so this hose is only a foot long with jubilees either end. Where is the best place to get a replacement hose quickly and cheaply?

Just did that exact thing, it was the hose that goes onto the side of the head. All sorted now thanks, was hard to get a look at the hose when it was steaming everywhere.
