Old Chesnut - Colour MFD
« on: 17 June 2013, 14:02 »
I've been looking at the updated configurator on the VW website and it clearly shows Colour MFD as a £135 option.

I thought it had been confirmed that it was standard?

Does anyone have any more info?

Colour MFD is standard, it is definitely not a cost option.

Updated or not the configurator is crap.

Hi,

Would it be possible AAddict to send me details of where I could down load the brochure of that screenshot?  Or can anyone else help?

I've ordered a GTD via a broker and when I ordered the colour MFD was an option.  Don't want to be paying the extra £135 if I don't have to!

Cheers.

It's the normal price list available from vw.co.uk:

Same happened to me.  When I ordered it was an option (though that was a mistake).  After the broker passed me on to a dealer the dealer informed me they had removed the £135 but the colour MFD would be there as standard.  Check with your dealer!

I'm pretty sure the brochure is on the VW site somewhere, have you looked there?

Thanks,

Looked at the GTD brochure etc and assumed it would have been there rather than on the price list.  Cheers for your help.

It is definitely a standard item.  I had to add it to my order back in April, but later it was confirmed as standard.  It's still on my order "just in case", but with a zero cost against it.
