Hi Foklks,

After selling my old mk3 8v. I went onto a celica import. Long story short...it did not work out.

However, just went and picked up at mk4 gti 25th anni 180 last night.

All I can say is very impressed. It has only covered 20k miles in the 4 years as per MOT history. Will get some pics up as soon as.

EML came on when I drove it from the sellers house and when I reached mines. Seems to be running ok through, so with get it on the vagcom tonight.

Can anyone shed any light on why the temp guage doesnt hit 90 when driving. Only goes to 90 when sort of sitting idling. Thinking the thermostat.

Anyways...good to be back here :)

Nope...just thought off the thermostat. The car has no overheating issues and has been sitting at 90 most of time over the last 24 hours. I think I will look to change both.

Thanks
